I hope everyone had a great break for the holidays and is entering 2012 refreshed and energized! I’m looking forward to getting out there this year with some new portfolios, a new S.A.M. website, and some great new talent that I’ve recently added to my roster…The official announcements will be coming soon so stay tuned!!!

Look for Justin Carrasquillo’s imagery on a new Print and Broadcast campaign from Cadillac this Holiday Season! William Clark who just returned from a PUMA shoot in Miami is heading to NYC next to shoot as a local for Target. AbnerMedia/Tom Matre is putting the finishing touches on a self produced Harley video after shooting the H-D Parts, Accessories, and Motorclothes Holiday catalog this year, and Bob McNamara is preparing for his 13th Annual Report shoot for client Wells Fargo next month!

I was recently calling on agencies in Miami again and got a chance to show some off some new work from 3 of my photographers who are now also directing video! Like Minneapolis, a lot of Miami clients are looking to add  motion to their still projects that can extend a campaign to the web or social marketing sites…Tom Matre, William Clark, and now Bob McNamara are all gearing up and adding new video work to their reels, and I’m learning how to best present this work to you.  Let me know if you have an interest in seeing some of this great new media. I’ll be in Mpls for a few weeks before heading back to Florida mid April for a William shoot, and a trip to L.A. in May is in the works to get Justin’s book around the City of Angels…

Lots of snow and cold here at the World Headquarters this Winter. A good 30″ on the ground and a reading of -27 this morning a mere 35 minutes north of the balmy metropolis called Minneapolis…love it!

Artist Update: January 2011

It’s been a busy start to the New Year!
Bob McNamara: is in the middle of the month long Wells Fargo Annual Report shoot – next week, stops in Arkansas and North Carolina, then possibly a studio shoot Friday for Target! Tom Matre: wrapping a large THYMES project, starting on video shoot next week for Schwans then Cheerios out at the Big G studios. Justin Carrasquillo: just got back from NYC shooting for MINI, just launched more new shots to the Subaru Accessories website, back to NY in Feb. for another MINI shoot, and featured in upcoming “Rangefinder” Magazine article. William Clark: recent shoots for MN Bride, OLSON, and wrapped another week of shooting for Christopher & Banks today, next up – Juil footwear shoot in LA, and release of his directorial debut for MINI accessories! ATV cops give Bob the boot

Bob McNamara had a bit of a run in recently at the Olmsted County Fair when 3 Officers on ATV’s surrounded him and asked to see what kind of pictures was on that fancy camera of his…he obliged them and was promptly kicked off the Midway, but not before capturing this awesome and only known picture in existence of…“The Olmsted County Fair Lemonade Stand”…
